Our Core Values
Our Core Values
We Value People
God values people. We believe that people matter to God and they matter to us. We will seek ways to intentionally share the love of Jesus, encouraging a personal and growing relationship with Christ.
John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Luke 15:7, Luke 15:10
We Value Family
As the first institution given by God to man, we will therefore strive to encourage and support the strength of the family within our church and our community.
Gen 2:24, Eph 5:2-22-6:4
We Value One Another
The Christian life was not meant to be lived alone; we were created to be a part of God’s family. We will help people get connected with each other and build relationships through small groups.
Acts 2:46-47
We Value Teaching for Life Change
We believe the Bible is God’s Word to the world. Therefore, we must live and practice the life changing principles we discover. God gave us His Word in order to equip us and change us for His glory and benefit.
Psalm 1, James 1:22-25, Luke 6:46, Psalm119:11
We Value Service
We believe that God expects us to serve Him. We also believe that God equips every believer with different gifts and passions and that each member is a minister. We will encourage everyone to use and develop their gifts and talents in service to God, our church, our community and our world.
1 Peter 4:10, Romans 12; 6-8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-7
We Value Excellence
We believe that everything we do should be done to the best of our ability. We also believe that everything should be done with excellence or not at all.
Colossians 3:17, Malachi, 1:6-14, Proverb 27:17
We Value Relevance
Although our methods may change, the Message will not. We believe the Bible is the most exciting book ever written, and we will seek to utilize contemporary music, the arts and technology to communicate the timeless message of Christ.
1 Corinthians 9:22-23
We Value Kingdom Growth
We believe that healthy things grow. Everything we do will be done in an effort to grow the Kingdom of Heaven. Because of this, we seek to partner with other churches to see the great commission carried out.
